We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).If you are compassionate, dedicated, and passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives, this is the role for you!---Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autismImplement behavioral plans developed by a BCBA/LBACollect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progressMaintain detailed session notes and recordsCollaborate with the therapy team (BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians)Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needsCommunicate clearly and effectively with families and supervisors---Job RequirementsMinimum education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related fieldRelated roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsKnowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws---Work SchedulePart-time: 15-30 hours per weekMust be available after school hours and/or weekendsMost sessions begin after 3:00 PM (Mon-Fri)---BenefitsFlexible part-time or full-time schedulesSign-on bonus of up to $250Multiple openings across all five boroughs
