We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Provider to join our healthcare team. As a full time Wound and Primary Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with primary care needs as well as wounds, ensuring their comfort and promoting healing. Duties:Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with and without wounds, including diagnostic evaluationsDevelop and implement individualized wound and primary care plans based on assessment findingsProvide wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and other procedures at patient's bedsideProvide primary care services to patients in an assisted living settingMonitor and evaluate the progress of wound healingCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient careEducate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomesRound in long term care facilities, assisted living communities, in office and occasionally home visits. Job QualificationsMust hold an active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License in IdahoExperience of 1-3 years as a provider is preferred but will train the right new graduateSalary is dependent on experienceStrong knowledge and experience in wound care management preferred but not required.Ability to triage patients effectively in emergency situationsStrong communication skillsExperience in post-acute care settings (Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing) recommended but not requiredDriving is required, dependable vehicle and a valid driver's license is a must.
