Infrastructure Engineer 3

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for Infrastructure Engineer 3 Position type: Full-time - Contract Duration: 6 months Location: San Antonio, TX As Infrastructure Engineer 3, you will be: Manage work packages to ensure project deliverables are met through collaboration with IT Infrastructure, network Services, Service Support and IT Operations teams. Works with Application Development and Business Unit teams and provides proper guidance to ensure client software and services are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced and maintained according to the operations standards and expected service quality. Provides Tier 3 proactive and reactive service and performance management for mission critical systems and client systems. Create and maintain a patch management strategy for tools and methods to include tools that maintain a secure computing environment. Plan, design, and manage infrastructure technologies that can support complex and heterogeneous corporate data and voice infrastructure Manage the Project Management Database and increase utility with reports and dashboards. Develop alternative solutions for decision-making which support organizational goals/objectives and budget constraints. Performs system administration duties of various software platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Computer Systems, Management Information Systems or related field from an accredited university. Infrastructure/analyst experience in a field supporting and providing technical and analytical solutions. Knowledge of Window Linux/Unix, and Azure Cloud environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling. Master’s degree or relevant Certification. Solid foundation in Windows, Linux System Management, Virtualization, Scripting, deployment and management, Storage Virtualization, System Backup utilization enterprise class backup platform. Advanced understanding of VMware vSphere, virtualization, and cloud technologies Preferred certifications: ITIL, MCSE, VCP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and MS 365. Thank you!
