Staffmark is hiring a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a growing organization in the construction industry. In this key role, you’ll manage HR functions including compliance, employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management. Salary: $65K-$100K (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities Develop and enforce HR policies aligned with labor laws and company goals Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations Advise leadership and staff on HR practices and conflict resolution Lead employee engagement, training, and development initiatives Maintain accurate HR documentation and reporting Support project-based workforce planning for current and future needs Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture Qualifications SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (required) Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred) 5+ years of HR management experience (construction/industrial preferred) Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with union environments is a plus Familiarity with safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA/DOT) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Why You’ll Love Working Here Our partner company offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that will be shared upon hire.
