Position Information Classification requested Senior Accounts Assistant The applicants shall meet the minimum requirements listed on Office of Administration, Division of Personnel's website: Multiple Awards The Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) may award to multiple Vendors based on the lowest cost with preference points included for each staff requested. Resumes The Vendor can submit resumes for each applicant but is not required and will not be evaluated. The request will only be evaluated and awarded based on the lowest cost with preference points included. Interviews DHSS may conduct interviews with applicants before the applicants start working. DHSS shall have final approval of applicants. If a applicant is not approved by DHSS the Vendor shall provide a new applicant for approval within () working days. Location Wildwood Dr. Jefferson City, MO Remote No Dress Code Business casual (no jeans) Anticipated start date September , Anticipated end date December , DHSS may need personnel past this date, DHSS will notify the Vendor if the anticipated end date changes. Required qualifications/skills The applicant shall have a minimum of years' experience in basic accounting. The applicant shall have critical thinking skills. The applicant shall have basic math skills. The applicant shall be dependable and have a great attendance. Preferred qualifications/skills It is desirable the applicant have experience entering payments into a electronic accounting system. Job Description Process invoices and purchases in the State of Missouri's Financial Systems. Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Assist DHSS staff with questions or concerns related to Health Financial Services processes and issues. Review payment documents for accuracy and compliance, including the review of paper documentation prior to approving payments in the statewide financial system. Resolve payment discrepancies, including communication with customers, divisions, vendors, etc., to ensure payments are processed accurately. Provide assistance to DHSS employees and vendors as needed, including guiding them through the correct payment process to ensure proper documentation is submitted for processing. Work Schedule: Days and hours to be worked Monday through Friday to (Alternate work hours may be considered but must be within to Weekend or evening work required?
