Description The BGS Custom Gift Fulfillment Coordinator operates in Cheryl’s Warehouse in Obetz, OH, and coordinates the execution of specialized gift offerings like BGS and Personalization. This person organizes workflow, mailing labels, order personalization, specialized box and tin printing, and monitors the accurate completion of each Custom & Logo order. This individual serves as an important communicator between the BGS sales team, merchandising set up team, technology partners, Obetz print shop, Obetz assembly operations and Obetz warehouse key contacts. A critical component will be the preparation and printing of personalized tin lids and corrugate boxes, and the role will require a regular review of processes and procedures needed to improve order fulfillment accuracy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily; including but not limited to the following: Organize the orders of Logo and Custom gifts being built in gift production daily; coordinate with the BGS Sales Team, Gift Production, Operations, and Merchandising Daily coordination with print shop and assembly/warehouse teams on all orders with logo and/or personalization needs Oversee and assist with the build of each Logo or Custom BGS order to ensure the highest of quality of gift completion to specification and that the build meets the timing window expectations. Set up demo gift for gift production team to follow as a model before the start of the production process. Check BOM of each Logo & Custom Gift to ensure components and logo prints look accurate, reach out to Merch Team if any problems are noted or if there are questions. Confirm accuracy of Logo or Custom gifts to include Logo print accuracy, greeting or enclosure cards, components, ship method, and overall presentation standard. Ensure all postproduction documents and labeling are 100% correct before gift is put away into freezer, and for VIP orders take extra steps of securing specified areas in freezer and add extra “highly visible” labeling so product does not go missing. Maintain accurate records, development of spreadsheets to track issues and resolutions. Daily review of project calendars to plan for future order needs to be completed on time. Assist in the development of SOPs and work prioritization in the department. Manage organization of orders and execution of assembly of personalized component to POD gifts being shipped. Regular review of processes and procedures needed to improve order fulfillment. Responds and champions warehouse and team concern to foster positive relationships. Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once & adhere to deadlines accuracy. Display a sense of urgency and escalate issues appropriately to maximize resources. Ability to communicate and motivate associates to meet the needs of the business. Coordinate day-to-day workflow, training and troubleshooting in a multi-temperature environment, including temperatures at or below freezing. Using WMS or other systems/reports, track, and/or review productivity to ensure goals, deadlines and outputs are met in an accurate an efficient manner. Provide constructive and timely feedback to associates (one on one or in a group setting) regarding performance and productivity. Experience or ability to learn how to correctly operate high speed printing equipment. Adhere to all attendance, safety, security and SQF requirements. Ability to work overtime during peak seasons or when given notice of business needs. Must possess the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Possess a positive outlook and a ‘can-do’ mindset. Support company guidelines, including business code of conduct. Maintain a clean and organized facility that is always “tour ready.” Promote a culture of continuous improvement and perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned. Specific projects may be assigned in promotion of over team, function, and site. Oher duties as assigned. Requirements Education, Experience, and Skills Bachelor’s Degree a plus; High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. 1+ years industry experience including print room operations would be ideal with some leadership experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, leadership & employees). Previous warehouse management system and SAP knowledge preferred. Experience with meeting/achieving high quality standards with individual audit checks. Knowledge of food labeling and food safety requirements Success candidate (internal and external) will complete classroom training and certification on equipment if applicable. Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media. MS Office - Working knowledge of power point, excel, basic photoshop and tools associated with Salesforce administration such as data loader and a familiarity with csv file format data is required. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
