Job Description AECOM is seeking a Project Manager Lead for our growing Renewable Department within the US Energy Practice. AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States. Our team provides a wide range of services across markets sectors including transmission (substations, overhead and underground transmission systems, generator interconnections, interconnection strategy), renewable generation (Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Wind), power distribution (overhead and underground power systems, EV charging networks, microgrid design, etc.), next generation energy (fuel cells, etc.) as well as advanced nuclear. We seek a project professional able to manage the design process from the project basis of design stage through the issuance of deliverables, ensuring seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering design, interconnection, utility markets, and construction processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead matrixed design teams and manage client-approved engineering consultants. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: + Supervision and Operations Support + Support Department Manager in advancing the culture of customer service excellence and accountability + Supervise and mentor a team of project managers through their individual and team development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction + Lead improvements in project efficiencies by creating, updating, and implementing group specific standards/templates + Responsible for teamu2019s forecast management and tracking + Proposal support / capture leadership to support business development activities + Identify project opportunities early and facilitate go/no-go decisions, determine project fees, write proposals, prepare and lead client presentations, and negotiation of contracts + Client development through existing contracts/relationships including managing key accounts and developing new accounts + Actively support recruiting efforts + Support projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning u00b7 Project participation: + Responsible for the management of assigned projects; Function as the project manager / program manager + Take ownership of internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management. + Facilitate planning and kickoff meetings to ensure alignment among all project stakeholders. + Oversee the design process, including conducting
