As a Shipping & Export Clerk you will: Process shipments of various types in efficient and timely manner to include, but not limited to FedEx shipments, Truckload, flatbed, and LTL shipments via 3PL web portal, hazmat BOLs in compliance with 49CFRProcessing shipments via Govt web portal TEAMSProcess shipments via Govt web portal SIRSExecute shipment entry for Govt material exercising extreme level of detail to documented shipment processShipment of export material to various international locationsWorking knowledge of current export rules and regulationsReconcile systematic vs physical inventory of Non-Conforming parts in shipping areaRoot Cause Corrective Action for NCR issue itemsRecord and display shipping metrics on common use RotoCubeDaily white board communications to union staff membersEnsuring supplies for shipping are kept in stockIncident management as neededPosting over time needs and recording / maintaining hours charged for union OTEntering work orders for repairs as neededProcessing job packets for shipmentCommunication of SO pick needs to warehouse personnelFollow up on aged materials in shipping dept.Adhere to all FARS and DFARS rules and regulations.Willingness to go where needed to support business objectives and outcomes.Required Education, Experience, & Skills : Bachelors degree with 2 years working experience in Transportation/Shipping/Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.Team orientedWillingness to be flexible with work scheduleProficient in Microsoft excel, word, and PowerPointExcellent Communication skillsAble to resolve problemsAttention to detailRequired Education, Experience, & Skills High School dipoloma & 3 years working experience in a related field.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors degree with 2 years working experience in Transportation/Shipping/Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.Team orientedWillingness to be flexible with work scheduleProficient in Microsoft excel, word, and PowerPointExcellent Communication skillsAble to resolve problemsAttention to detail Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills : Working knowledge of export rules and regulationsUnderstanding of DOT rules and regulationsExperience working with union personnelPrior management / supervisor experience is a plus Hazmat experiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $50268 - $85455Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
