JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing fast, friendly and excellent service beverage service to Caesars Entertainment guests. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Provides fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests. Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of drinks, and presents drinks to guests. Maintains clean and stocked workstation. Handles money according to procedure. Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines (CARE). Checks for ID’s according to Caesars policy. Serves as an ambassador of goodwill and a public relations person for our customers. Promotes casino events and programs. Works closely with Total Rewards Center to promote new card sign up programs. Works well with all Team Members within the Beverage Department—as well as all other departments. Provides personalized service and uses guest name. Resolves service problems according to guidelines. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Cocktail or Waitperson experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS: Fluent and literate in English Read, write legibly, understand and speak English Excellent customer service/communication skills Count money and change correctly Know or is able to learn tray service, cocktail ingredients Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy Must be 21 years of age. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures Professional Appearance Standards: Overall Guidelines (applied equally to male/female): Must maintain “Personal Best” image portrayed at time of hire Tasteful and simple jewelry is permitted per jewelry policy guidelines No extreme hairstyles or unnatural colors are permitted Males: Hair must not extend below top of shirt collar.Ponytails are prohibited. Hands and fingernails must be clean and nails neatly trimmed at all times. Shoes will be solid black leather or leather type dress style. Females: Hair must be teased, curled, or styled every day you work. Stockings are to be of nude or natural color consistent with employee’s skin tone. No runs. Nail polish can be clear, white, pink or red color only. No exotic nail art or length. Makeup (face powder, blush and mascara) must be worn and applied in complimentary colors. Lip color must be worn at all times. Shoes will be basic black pumps with 1-inch minimum heel height and closed heel and toe. PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. for extended periods of time Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (., pens, money, garnishes), bend, stoop and twist while serving cocktails, Must be able to stand and walk for up to four hours wearing one inch (minimum height) heels.
