Description The School of Analytics, Finance, and Economics invites globally renowned scholars to submit an application for consideration as the Vandeveer Chair in Economics to start August 11, 2026. Southern Illinois University-Carbondale is a Carnegie High Research Activity Institution offering BA, MA, MS, and PHD degrees in Economics. Examples of Duties The selected candidate will teach doctoral courses with a 1/1 teaching load, engage in scholarly research, supervise doctoral students, and bring visibility to the university. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:PhD in Economics or related discipline and currently holding the rank of Professor.
