OverviewSenior Travel Agent - Publicity Entertainment (Remote) - US, Virtual, NOAMWe work with some of the biggest names in the Media & Entertainment Industry. This role involves supporting Netflix travellers and publicists, coordinating travel for films, series, events, and publicity efforts in North America and globally.You’ll be working for Netflix, the world’s leading streaming service, with an operation that covers 190 countries. You’ll be dynamic, flexible with hours and location, and passionate about providing first-class customer service as you move travellers around the globe. A love of film, TV, and media is a definite plus as you’ll work closely with Netflix personnel as part of their core support network.Key responsibilities include supporting the fast-paced world of Entertainment travel, assisting with travel for publicity events, and moving talent to and from events such as film festivals and award shows. You will be a leading point of contact for Netflix travellers in North America and other global locations.As a Senior Entertainment Travel Consultant, you will offer expert guidance, help clients perfect their travel plans, stay calm under pressure, and share hints, suggestions, and recommendations to improve their journeys. You will immerse yourself in the Netflix culture and provide data to enable informed decisions whenever possible.Note: This position may require support from other areas on the Netflix account such as Production, Relocation and Candidate Travel.As a Senior Travel Agent - Publicity Entertainment, you willAccurately and efficiently handle incoming travel requests via multiple channels e.g., phone, emails for Netflix Entertainment. Travel could be for A-listers, VIPs, Talent, Press, and groups.Provide creative solutions to ensure the publicists’ requirements are metBe aware of budgets and offer the best solutions possibleUnderstand the needs of Publicists and travellers, appropriately guiding them to the best solutionsHandle amendments, cancellations, and schedule changes, including recalculations of domestic and international airfaresHandle accommodation, meet & greets, chauffeured cars, lounges, and other VIP servicesDeliver great customer service, showing enthusiasm for working with clientsUpdate travel manifests and travel logsEnsure accuracy in itineraries, back-office invoicing and billingKeep up to date with the changing nature of travel resulting from the pandemicProvide visa and country entry restriction guidanceWork with colleagues in different regions to provide a successful global follow-the-sun operationAbout youPrevious entertainment travel experience or VIP travel is essentialA strong working knowledge of Sabre GDS and good fares and ticketing expertiseGood worldwide geography and keen attention to detailProven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, able to adapt to changeAbility to work flexible hours - with possible occasional bank holiday workingAbility to work independently, exercising discretion and judgementProven excellent customer service provision and problem resolution skillsAbility to work under pressureAdaptable to aspects of the client cultureAbility to work with international teams to serve a common goalExperience with handling small or large groups would be beneficialAbout usWe are the Media & Entertainment division of BCD Travel, one of the world’s largest and most admired travel management companies.
