Description Industrial Maintenance ElectricianTo ensure success as a maintenance electrician, you should have high-level problem-solving skills, extensive experience working with industrial electrical systems, and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-class maintenance electrician ensures the smooth running of a building's electrical system and resolves issues quickly and efficiently.Job Type: Full timeShift: M-F, 6a - 2:30p, on call for other shiftsSalary: $35-$38 / hr** Pre-employment background check and drug screen dustrial Electricians must be able to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions. They must also be motivated to work on their own and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are a necessary part of this positionIndustrial Electrician Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair/replace field instrumentation, electrical and control components.Diagnose issues with machines using PLCsBasic improvements utilizing the site programming software for PLC’s and OIS’sRecommend replacement frequencies for electrical and control components for the CMMSWork as a team member or alone to complete projects.Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.Make decisions based on technical documents.Servicing motor controls and electrical distribution equipmentReading and interpreting specifications and blueprintsConducting electronic inspections and testsGrounding electrical systemsPerforming electrical work on environmental regulating systems, pumps and industrial lighting systemsInstalling, maintaining and repairing heavy duty equipment and industrial communications systemsTroubleshooting and repairing electrical componentsWorking with programmable logic/automation controls[4]Familiar with RS-logic software.Experience setting up and troubleshooting Allen Bradley dustrial Electrician Qualifications/Education:Plant journeyman or LME Required.Graduate of a technical program majoring in PLC/industrial controls or equivalent experience.High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, dustrial Electrician Benefits:Employee referral bonus program2 weeks paid time off + 2 floating holidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (FSA & HSA options)Educational assistanceLife insurance, short term & long-term disability401(k) with employer match & immediate vestingEmployee heating pellet programLignetics SWAG gear to include an annual pair of work boots & other PPEMonthly target bonus plan#IDWest Salary Description $35-$38/hour
