Owning mechanical tools are required (specialty heavy tools are supplied by the company) Full-time, permanent W-2 employee Full benefits Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder Located in the Butler Wisconsin Area This full-time, permanent Heavy Equipment Assembler | Niche Manufacturing | 4-Day Week career opportunity is for a Heavy Equipment Assembler at a niche, custom machine manufacturer that holds a commanding position in the global market. They are one of the only companies in the world that manufactures this large-scale custom machinery for critical industries (like mining and metals). With a record-breaking backlog of orders, the company is financially sound and offers maximum stability and continuous work. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following: Perform complex mechanical assembly of large-scale industrial machinery components, ranging from 1 to 20 tons. Accurately read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics to ensure all components are assembled to approved specifications. Execute precision tasks such as complex bearing fitments using indicators, feeler gauges, hydraulic pullers, and torque wrenches. Operate overhead cranes and other heavy equipment safely to manage large components during the assembly process. Inspect and document final assembly dimensions according to ITP reports and quality control standards. Communicate effectively with the team and occasionally travel for onsite repair and customer support. The background of the successful candidate must include the following: 3+ years of on-the-job experience in mechanical assembly, preferably with heavy equipment or large-scale machinery High skill level in blueprint and schematic reading and a strong mechanical background Proficiency in the use of precision tools (indicators, feeler gauges, torque wrenches) Experience operating overhead cranes to safely handle parts up to 20 tons Must possess your own set of mechanical tools Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform work in a manufacturing environment Possess a solid work history and a valid driver’s license Being a US citizen or green card holder Having a residence within a 45-minute drive Please apply here or at /opportunities where you can see and apply for any of our open positions.
