Details Department: Family PracticeSchedule: Monday - Friday 7 am - 5 pm. One night a week until 5:30 pm. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.Responsibilities Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical terviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.Education:High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.Additional Preferences Medical Assistant:Responsibilities:Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical terviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Licensed Practical Nurse:Responsibilities:Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.Medical AssistantLicensure/Certification/Registration:Required Credential(s):BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Months (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Education:High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.Work Experience:Some experience as a medical assistant strongly preferred.Clinic LPNLicensed Practical Nurse:Responsibilities:Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients.Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.Licenses/Certifications/Registration:Required Credential(s):BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.Work Experience:None required.
