Overview Process Coordinator - Subpoena FulfillmentA great opportunity exists for a detail-oriented, confident and highly organized professional to join Capital One’s Subpoena Fulfillment and Intake team. This team based in the Capital One Legal department is a dynamic group of legal professionals who receive, review, research, and fulfill on third-party subpoenas issued to Capital One. This role involves reviewing legal requests (. subpoenas) received from external requestors including state agencies, private attorneys, and law enforcement. Also part of the core job function is customer account research, document collection, and coordination with internal business groups. The Principal Coordinator must be able to manage multiple responsibilities, demonstrate strong judgment, and meet time-bound deadlines. In order to achieve meaningful, collaborative time in the office, working onsite at the Riverwoods location in accordance with the Capital One hybrid policy is expected.Primary ResponsibilitiesReview and prepare responses to subpoenas and government agency requests for customer account information consistent with the best interests of customer / companyInteract with business lines to research account systems of record to compile requested information.Evaluate account information received from all business lines to ensure completeness, quality, and accuracy consistent with subpoena municate with requesting parties/agencies to resolve ambiguous requests.Notate relevant request and response information in system of recordManage workload in an efficient manner to insure requests are completed timely and within stated team benchmarksIdentify and solve issues within scope and escalate to management in a timely mannerActively support and comply with team and department objectivesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage deadlinesAssist with team administrative functions, reporting, and special projects (as needed)Basic QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or military experienceAt least 1 year of experience in Google Workspace and ExcelPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degreeStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and time management1+ years of experience in a law firm OR legal department1+ years of experience in financial services industryAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.This role is hybrid, meaning associates spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are options for in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
