Business Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Hempstead, New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in gap analysis, data governance, and business requirement documentation to deliver actionable insights and drive projects forward. This is a long-term contract opportunity for professionals with a strong background in agile methodologies and technical tools. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct detailed gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and align solutions with business objectives. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements. u2022 Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and Ellucian Banner to analyze and present data effectively. u2022 Implement and oversee data governance strategies to ensure compliance and accuracy. u2022 Manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication across teams. u2022 Facilitate AB testing to validate solutions and optimize processes. u2022 Work within Agile frameworks to deliver projects on time and within scope. u2022 Coordinate with IAM and AWS IAM systems to enhance security and streamline operations. u2022 Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to support decision-making. u2022 Monitor project progress and provide actionable feedback to ensure alignment with goals. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role. u2022 Proficiency in gap analysis and creating detailed business requirement documentation. u2022 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for data handling and reporting. u2022 Experience with Ellucian Banner and IAM systems, including AWS IAM. u2022 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and AB testing processes. u2022 Demonstrated ability to implement effective data governance strategies. u2022 Proven track record in managing change initiatives and stakeholder communication. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
