Job Title: Assistant Project Manager Job Description The Assistant Project Manager will provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with LIHTC compliance and property management is highly valued. Responsibilities + Serve as a primary point of contact, delivering excellent customer service. + Learn LIHTC compliance and regulatory requirements. + Assist with reporting, inventory control, and delinquency procedures. + Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure tasks are completed on time. + Assist in communications with state monitoring agencies and external partners. + Guide site managers and superintendents toward solution-oriented problem solving. + Help manage conflicts professionally and effectively. Essential Skills + Experience in administrative or operations support; property management or LIHTC experience preferred. + Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. + Highly organized with the ability to multitask and adapt. + Proficiency with standard office software. + Ability to work independently and support team goals. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with LIHTC compliance and regulatory requirements. + Knowledge in project management, property management, and site development. + Familiarity with RFI, property maintenance, and agency management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative assistance. + Experience in customer service-oriented roles and property administration. + Report writing and data entry skills. + Experience in real estate, leasing, residential property, and construction management. + Understanding of commercial real estate and tax regulations. Work Environment The position is primarily office-based, requiring regular interaction with staff and external agencies. Occasional job site visits may be required to lend support to onsite staff. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gardiner, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
