Adecco is recruiting for an HR Assistant to work for a client in North Syracuse, NY. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to convert to permanent, and pays $18-20/hour depending on experience. Overview: Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support daily human resources and administrative functions. This position is ideal for someone with a clerical or office administration background who enjoys working in a people-focused environment. Responsibilities: + Provide administrative support to the HR department and management team + Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries + Maintain employee files and ensure records are up to date + Assist with onboarding paperwork, scheduling interviews, and new hire orientation + Support benefits, payroll, and timekeeping processes as needed + Prepare reports, correspondence, and other HR-related documentation + Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion + Perform other clerical duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and mail distribution Qualifications: + Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or HR support role + Strong communication and organizational skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail + Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
