Data Scientist: III (Senior)

Description We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Analytics team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will leverage advanced data science techniques to uncover opportunities for improving customer experiences and driving business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, finance, and senior leadership, to deliver actionable insights and performance analytics. This position offers a unique chance to influence strategic decision-making and contribute to high-visibility projects. Responsibilities: u2022 Analyze customer, product, channel, and digital data to identify opportunities for enhancing consumer experiences and delivering customer value. u2022 Develop and implement data-driven models and experiments to answer complex business questions. u2022 Conduct research on emerging techniques in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics. u2022 Create intuitive data visualizations and compelling data stories to communicate insights to diverse stakeholders. u2022 Collaborate with teams across the organization to align analytics efforts with business objectives. u2022 Deliver actionable recommendations to product teams and senior leadership based on data analysis. u2022 Partner with Agile development teams to support projects throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to implementation. u2022 Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used in analyses and models. u2022 Stay updated on the latest tools and methodologies in data science and analytics to enhance team capabilities. Requirements u2022 Masteru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field, or a Bacheloru2019s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. u2022 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau. u2022 Experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and familiarity with cloud technologies. u2022 Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences. u2022 Proven ability to conduct large-scale experiments and apply advanced analytics methods. u2022 Knowledge of financial services, payment processing, and digital channels is preferred. u2022 Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. u2022 A passion for data storytelling and optimization, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
