We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Leader to join us in the Los Angeles office and play a pivotal role in leading and growing our civil engineering team.The ideal candidate should be a licensed civil engineer with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects serving as a project manager. The role involves technical design, consulting, client engagement, business development, and team leadership. The Opportunity: u00b7 Manage complex multidisciplinary design projects, including oversight of the commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the project. u00b7 Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients and collaborators. u00b7 Lead the preparation of proposals, bid submissions, and marketing activities. u00b7 Coordinate with internal market and business leaders to develop strategic opportunities. u00b7 Serve as senior technical reviewer and QA/QC leader for civil design projects. u00b7 Provide leadership, mentoring and career development for a team of civil engineers,fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence while building a climate of trust and openness within the team. Qualifications: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in civil engineering; Masteru2019s degree preferred. u00b7 12+ years of experience in civil engineering. u00b7 Professional Engineering license is required. u00b7 Deep knowledge of core civil engineering fundamentals such as stormwater management, low impact development solutions, utility design, grading and earthwork, roadway geometry, pavement design, and accessibility standards. u00b7 Experience winning and delivering successful projects for local clients in the Los Angeles market. Knowledge of permitting processes for City of Los Angeles (LADBS, LABOE, and the various clearance divisions) and other Southern California cities is desired. u00b7 Experience managing project delivery and interfacing with project owners, contractors, and outside consultants while maintaining commitment to sustainable design practices. u00b7 Track-record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations. u00b7 Demonstrable commercial acumen, business savvy, and leadership qualities. u00b7 Experience delivering projects within operational campuses such as Healthcare (including permitting through HCAI) is preferred. Options for alternative schedules and the ability to work outside of the office for a portion of your workweek are available Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Los Angeles is $150,000 to $200,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Los Angeles will differ.
