JOB REQUIREMENTS: Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin.BETTER TOGETHER This is a hybrid position with ability to work remotely,but will also have onsite requirements. The Administrative Assistant -Executive provides a broad range of administrative assistance andclerical support to the Chief Information Officer and the InformationTechnology Services (ITS) department. Responsibilities include answeringtelephones, and screening calls, scheduling meetings and managingcalendars, assisting in preparation of reports and materials, organizingdepartment administrative operations and filing systems, and preparingmemos, letters and presentations. Additionally, the incumbent performsadministrative tasks related to departmental operations and management.The Administrative Assistant - Executive receives primary guidance,direction and general supervision from the Chief Information Officer.This position also receives guidance and direction from the Chief Equityand Engagement Officer. JOB SPECIFIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associatedegree from an accredited technical college or school in businessscience or related field preferred; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years ofsecretarial / administrative experience in an office environmentincluding customer service. Direct experience in a Healthcare orinsurance environment is highly desirable. Ability to type and wordprocess 40 WPM with minimal errors. Fine manual dexterity required.Ability to use a keyboard extensively required. Ability to perform dataentry accurately and in a timely manner. Knowledge of and provenproficiency using personal computers including the use of MicrosoftOffice applications including extensive knowledge of Word, Outlook,PowerPoint and Excel is required. Knowledge of and ability to follow theprinciples and practices of business office management is required.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including ability toprovide telephone support and consult with external parties,practitioners, and internal staff required. Excellent organizationalskills, prioritization skills, and analytical and problem solvingability required. Ability to pay attention to details and to managemultiple tasks. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills todeal courteously and effectively with internal and external staff,members and the general public required. Ability to diplomaticallyhandle communications in potentially stressful situations. Ability to beculturally sensitive and work with diverse populations.
