Instructional Empowerment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Editorial and Administrative Assistant (EAA) to support our CEO in advancing both the organizations brand and his role as a thought leader in K-12 school improvement. This is a dynamic position for a professional who thrives at the intersection of content creation, strategic communication, and high-level support.Location: West Palm Beach, FL. Hybrid: In Office/RemoteAbout the RoleThe EAA plays a key role in shaping and amplifying Instructional Empowerments message across multipleplatforms — from articles, books, and newsletters to podcasts, conferences, and social media. Working closely with the CEO, this individual ensures that every piece of communication reflects the organizations mission, tone, and vision for transforming teaching and learning in schools nationwide. Equally important, the EAA provides administrative support that enables the CEO to focus on strategic priorities. This includes preparing for meetings, coordinating logistics, and anticipating needs to ensure seamless execution of daily operations. What You Will DoCreate & Edit Compelling Content: Collaborate directly with the CEO to write, edit, and refine materials including articles, presentations, white papers, and book manuscripts.Advance the CEOs Brand: Identify and pursue opportunities for thought leadership — including conferences, podcasts, interviews, and media features — that amplify the CEOs and companys voice in the K-12 education community.Manage Executive Operations: Coordinate scheduling, travel logistics, meeting documentation, and follow-up actions to keep the CEOs priorities on track.Ensure Quality & Consistency: Maintain editorial standards and ensure every piece of communication reflects a polished, professional image consistent with Instructional Empowerments mission and voice.Collaborate Across Teams: Work with executive and content leaders to produce customer stories, research pieces, and case studies that elevate the companys impact narrative.Stay Informed: Remain up to date on the CEOs current thinking as well as national research and trends in K-12 education, policy, and leadership. What You BringBachelors degree in journalism, communications, English, publishing, business, or a related field.3-5 years of professional experience in editing, publishing, marketing, or social media content creation.Proven ability to craft engaging, high-quality written and video content across formats.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with video editing and content management tools.Demonstrated expertise with current digital platforms that enhance productivity and communication.Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.Professional discretion and the capacity to translate strategic intent into actionable steps.Why Join UsAt Instructional Empowerment, youll be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to improving outcomes for students and educators nationwide.
