SUMMARY OF POSITIONProvides technical support to the Territory Sales Teams in the Packaging, Building & Construction and Industrial Channels to drive product and product application knowledge to Channel partners, Contractors and End users. Performs various tasks including product demonstrations, installations of packaging tape applicators and troubleshoots customer installed equipment. With guidance and coordination of CM, TSM, RSM, trains internal and external sales teams, technical teams and end users. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the technical functions of the job. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESSupports the Sales team members with sales calls, product demonstrations and assists with value added selling initiatives with channel partners, contractors and end users in support of building the Shurtape Brand.Establishes and maintains relationships with key channel partners, contractors, and end users in various market segments.Is fully versed on and actively seeks additional knowledge of all Shurtape products and applications and assists Channel Management and Product Management with the development of training content and product demonstrations that resonate with channel partners, contractors and end users.Educates and provides regular training events with TSM’s, channel partners, contractors and end users.Participates in Voice of Customer Sessions and Development Field Trials and provides concise feedback to Channel & Product Management and Product DevelopmentMaintains accurate calendar / schedule of events and customer visits.Provides detailed follow-up reports for each event to all sales team members associated with the event and manager.Produces and distribute timely and detailed service reports for all end user visits.Documents and communicates market knowledge, competitive products, pricing intelligence, key contacts, ect.Assists sales representatives with installation, field repair and return of Packaging Channel equipment.Work directly in the field and on job sites with contractors in various Building and Construction channel segments.Maintains adequate tape samples and parts inventory for product demonstrations and equipment events.Maintains a well-organized workspace and company vehicle that will represent the company in the best possible manner.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
