Lease Operator

The position of Lease Operatoris responsible foroil and gas well operations, well testing,operatingand maintaining field equipment and facilities, surveillance of general field operations and maintenance of various databasesregardingproduction and operations.Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can beexpected. Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and waterdisposal. Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodicprotectionand metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).Job is to be performed employing safe work practices whileutilizingacceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producingproperties.Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanicalproblems.Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatoryagencies.General housekeeping and field maintenance.1+ years of Lease Operator experience required.High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Must live within a 50 mile raidus of Franklin, LA. Housing is NOT offered.Proficiency in maintaining and repairing surface equipment related to oil & gas production.Strong computer, written, and oral communication skills.Physically able to lift over 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairways.Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and commitment to safety.Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
