All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.KCI Technologies is hiring a Bridge Inspection Team Lead to join our structures team in Pennsylvania.The Bridge Inspection Team Lead will be responsible for:Conducting inspections of structures in compliance with NBIS, Pub 100A, and Pub 238Leading the Bridge Inspection Team to ensure accurate completion of structure assessmentManaging the scheduling and coordination of inspection crews to ensure timely completion of inspections, reports, and reviews.Identifies deficiencies, assesses structure conditions, and accurately codes the structureRecommending appropriate repairs for identified structure deficienciesRecording and maintaining thorough documentation of structure conditions using i-forms and BMS2Compiling field data and conducting load rating analysesSummarizes the analyses and provides recommendations in the form of a Bridge Load Posting SummarySupervises and instructs subcontractors for traffic control and riggingPosition Requirements:CBSI Certification is requiredQualified candidates will have experience and be comfortable utilizing various hand tools, ladders, hydraulic man-lifts and/or under-bridge cranes to accurately inspect various sections of structuresA Motor Vehicle Record check is required for this positionEducation and/or Skills Required: • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 3 years of related professional experience, or 7 years of equivalent professional experience.• Participation in continuing education and professional development programs.• Experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.• Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teams.• Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.• Technical knowledge in the specific field of the project.• Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation.• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.• Negotiation skills to manage contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectively. • Understanding of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.Education and/or Work Experience Preferred: • Master’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry)Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:• Ability to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with passing the PM Board within 6 months of start date.Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
