Group Billing Analyst - Accounting (Full Time)

Responsible to bill and collect all revenues owed to the company in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.Prepare invoices for Catering functions as well as Group functionsFinalize invoices within 3-5 days of billing deadlineAttend all pre-con meetingsAttend weekly group resume meetingPrepare invoices for daily bill review, when requestedMeet with onsite group contacts to review billingDeliver cash paid out to meeting planner when requested.Prepare final pick up report for commissionable agenciesInvoice upcoming depositsPost check/wire payments and charge credit cardsResponsible for weekly Deposit ReportAttend meetings as requested.Perform special projects and other related responsibilities as assigned.Experience with hotel property management system an Delphi Sales & Catering system preferredExtremely detailed and accurateAble to work autonomouslyProficient with MS Excel & Word preferredAbility to effectively communicate with departmental managers, associates, guest and the publicExcellent organizational skills.Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlinesRead, write and speak English fluentlyExperience, Education, & Licensure:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCollege degree preferredHotel accounting background preferredCompensationBase Pay Start Rate: $25.62/Hr.We offer a competitive benefit package for full-time, regular team members that includes: group medical, dental, vision, life, disability benefits, and an employee assistance program.
