In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend. PACU Nurse Role: + Patience and focus to constantly support the perioperative department and provide critical care to patients post surgery + Proven ability to think and react quickly while providing education and surgical related questions post recovery + Proficiency with providing detailed instructions and completing all surgical consents and processes + Passion for excellence in delivering quality care If you are ready to start a career with an established team in an organization that understands the importance of your lifeu2019s calling, itu2019s time to connect with St Lukeu2019s Job Requirements + Minimum Qualifications: + Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors in Nursing Preferred) + Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas + BLS with skills demonstration + 1 year nursing experience required Experience Desired: One (1) year of perioperative related experience desired Two (2) years of Critical Care experience preferred Where You'll Work The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, womenu2019s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centeru2019s Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Childrenu2019s Hospital.
