Description : Part-Time FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Single Engine Certificate.GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTIONAll Hinds Community College employees must commit to the Caring Campus approach to student engagement and daily apply these general behavioral objectives: listen to student questions and concerns with a positive attitude and make meaningful connections with students.The Executive Director of Workforce Development (EDWFD) will lead efforts to prospect, develop, and grow new business on a local and regional level. The EDWFD will establish and execute strategies to develop relationships and workforce services for companies operating within the priority sectors. Frequently used tools will include active networking, collaboration with the state agencies, network, consultative client discussions, targeted event delivery and labor market research.This position will be accountable for the number of companies served in the HCC district, the volume of related training provided (for both pre- and post-employment training), and the quality of collaborative workforce consulting provided in assistance to local and state economic developers for new and expanding business projects. General daily operational of Workforce, Community, and Economic Development, Industrial Services Coordination, and the Professional Training Staff.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Maintain student training records in accordance with Hinds Community College Commercial Aviation policy.Maintain training standards as set forth by FAA regulations. Conduct “ground” training and “flight” training to teach the student the basics of flying an aircraft and to help them prepare for the written test.
