X-Ray Tech - Local Contract

Job Description: Compensation : $ 55 Job ID : 39919 Job Function: Day Shift and Evening Shift. 4x12: 8am - 4pm /12pm - 8pm. Produces radiographs of various parts of the body. Positions patients under the X-Ray machine and regulates technical factors. Assists radiologists in X-Ray procedures; prepares patients, draws contrast media, mixes barium and maintains daily work log. Develop film by automatic or daylight processing. Mixes barium for contrast exams. Dispose of biomedical waste using CDC and OSHA guidelines; Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned rooms. Maintain adequate room supplies s/respiratory and suction tubing. Job Requirements: Job Requirements: Current NYS license/registration in Radiologic Technology, Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered. OR Experience strongly preferred. Fluoroscopy experience strongly preferred.
