Lead ISO Coordinator - First Shift

Position Summary: Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet. Position Details: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (overtime as needed) + $22.00 base rate Major Responsibilities: u2022 Proper Training and/or facilitate lean and quality related concepts, tools, and methods to supervisors and managers. u2022 Conducting quality system audits on-site and creating report scorecards for operational locations. u2022 Assisting locations accomplish lean site certifications to achieve bronze status or one higher than previous site certification. u2022 Coaching and assisting operational locations in building their action plans (RAILS) to close gaps and realize opportunities identified in the audits, with the goal of fully applying the system at their location. u2022 Serving as an expert and resource for the locations leadership teams to implement the Kaizen+ program to foster associate engagement in process improvement and track performance based on participation and cost avoidance to targets. u2022 Actively reward and recognize locations for their accomplishments in the Kaizen+ program, throughout their lean site certification journey and with their lean challenge projects. u2022 Monitor operational locations progress and summarize status, value add, accomplishments and roadblocks to SOM & GM u2022 Provide weekly updates and progress on active Kaizen projects by location. u2022 Oversee local IT and ISO coordinator support staff. Qualifications: u2022 2 years of general office experience required u2022 1 year of customer service experience required u2022 High School diploma or equivalent required u2022 Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required u2022 AS400 experience preferred u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job u2022 Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
