Patient Registration Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Supervisor of Medical Clinical Operations to join our healthcare team in Woodland, California. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee the daily activities of patient access services, providing guidance to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to organizational standards. This position requires leadership in managing staff, optimizing processes, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise and monitor a team of 15 employees, ensuring adherence to operational protocols and performance standards. u2022 Develop and manage staff schedules and assignments to maintain cost-effective and efficient workflows. u2022 Provide operational guidance and disseminate updates on policies and procedures to team members. u2022 Act as a technical resource and advisor for staff, offering support on patient access services and related functions. u2022 Participate in the redesign of patient access processes and systems to enhance service quality, data integrity, and productivity. u2022 Deliver training and onboarding sessions for new hires, as well as continuing education programs for existing staff. u2022 Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and implement corrective actions for long-term solutions. u2022 Maintain an organized and efficient work environment, including supply management and adherence to budgetary constraints. u2022 Oversee employee selection, performance reviews, and coaching to support growth and departmental goals. u2022 Provide cross-training opportunities to prepare staff for multiple functions within patient access services. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in supervision or management within healthcare operations. u2022 Strong knowledge of patient access services and related processes. u2022 Excellent communication and customer service skills. u2022 Ability to train and onboard employees effectively. u2022 Proficiency in scheduling and resource allocation to meet operational needs. u2022 Familiarity with policy and procedure compliance in a healthcare setting. u2022 Capability to manage budgets and maintain organized work environments. u2022 Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
