We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a growing dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee property-related financial operations, ensure the accuracy and compliance of reporting while driving strategic insights through financial analysis. This position requires expertise in managing full-cycle accounting processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of financial data. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. u2022 Prepare and record journal entries, verifying documentation and reconciling financial accounts. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy. u2022 Oversee general ledger activities, including intercompany allocations, loan schedules, and asset tracking. u2022 Assist with liquidity management, including fund transfer requests and investor distribution coordination. u2022 Prepare financial reports to meet lender and investor requirements. u2022 Support budget preparation and provide recommendations based on financial trends and forecasts. u2022 Ensure compliance with tax regulations, business license renewals, and property tax filings. u2022 Collaborate with property management and regional teams to align financial operations with business goals. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Requirements Requirements: u2022 BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance u2022 Minimum 4 plus years of property accounting experience u2022 Familiarity with property accounting systems, such as Yard, RealPage, and real estate financial operations. u2022 Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliation processes. u2022 Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. u2022 Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
