Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer

Title: Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer Location: 1820 McCarthy Blvd, Milpitas, California USA 95035 Duration: 6 Months 100% Onsite Pay Range: $55/ hr to $57/ hr (On W2) We are looking for a u201cSr. Software Test Automation Engineeru201d to join one of our Leading Healthcare Client. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Sr. Software Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in mobile application testing u2014preferably within a regulated industry such as Medical Devices delivering Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess solid programming skills, in-depth knowledge of Android and iOS architectures , and proficiency in test automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities + Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts for SaMD mobile applications. + Utilize Python , Appium , and other testing tools for automation across real devices, emulators, and cloud device farms (e.g., BrowserStack , AWS Device Farm ). + Collaborate closely with Test, Development, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. + Manage and track testing activities and defects using Jira . + Maintain comprehensive test documentation and report results clearly and accurately. + Participate in regular performance evaluations, with progress measured on the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing , preferably in a regulated environment. + Strong coding experience in Python and/or Java . + Hands-on experience testing on Android and iOS platforms. + Proficiency with Appium , BrowserStack , and AWS Device Farm . + Experience using IBM ETM (preferred). + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment .
