The Facilities Janitorial Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the janitorial team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility. This role includes supervising and scheduling staff, managing payroll, monitoring supply usage, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Janitorial Manager serves as the primary point of contact with the client, addressing concerns, implementing service improvements, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: u2022 This is a working janitorial position with the additional responsibilities listed below. u2022 Directly manage in-house or third-party soft service providers including but not limited to janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, trash&recycling. u2022 Lead, train, and supervise a team of janitorial staff to meet service standards. u2022 Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage. u2022 Process and oversee payroll submissions accurately and on time. u2022 Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel. u2022 Support onboarding of new staff and ongoing employee development. u2022 Manages budget, forecasting and provide financial reporting as required. u2022 Manages requisitions and POs, and receipt invoices upon delivery or completion of work. u2022 Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our client. u2022 Maintain communication with the client, addressing issues and ensuring satisfaction. u2022 Conduct regular inspections of the facility to monitor quality and safety. u2022 Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. u2022 Handle additional duties as required to ensure smooth site operations. Qualifications: u2022 Previous experience in janitorial preferred. u2022 Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Previous scheduling and payroll systems experience preferred. u2022 Previous financial and budgeting experience. u2022 Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
