Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Penfield, New York. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all accounting tasks. u2022 Manage invoicing processes and ensure payroll postings are handled efficiently. u2022 Supervise billing operations, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) functions. u2022 Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. u2022 Handle project and cost accounting, maintaining precise records and supporting budgetary goals. u2022 Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial information. u2022 Review and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting practices are followed. u2022 Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and support. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management. u2022 Strong understanding of financial statement audits and account reconciliation processes. u2022 Proficiency in handling journal entries and project accounting. u2022 Ability to manage invoicing, billing, AP, and AR processes. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in financial reporting. u2022 Familiarity with cost accounting and budgetary tracking. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and external auditors.
