Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Plantation, Florida. This long-term contract role requires expertise in managing high-volume AP processes, inventory-related invoices, and advanced Excel functionalities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payments and reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Process high volumes of accounts payable transactions, including purchase orders and inventory-related invoices. u2022 Perform 2- and 3-way matching to ensure accuracy in invoice processing. u2022 Review and code invoices, including tax and freight allocations. u2022 Post ACH payments and manage online payment entries into NetSuite. u2022 Conduct detailed reviews of cash runs and dividends to maintain proper records. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies. u2022 Utilize Excel for complex data analysis, including VLOOKUPs and handling intricate spreadsheets. u2022 Maintain organized and accurate financial records for reporting purposes. u2022 Assist in uploading credit card transactions by formatting raw data for integration into NetSuite. u2022 Support the team with auditing and reconciliation tasks as needed. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on high-volume transactions and inventory-related processes. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level, including strong command of VLOOKUPs and complex spreadsheet management. u2022 Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred. u2022 Proven experience with purchase orders and 2- or 3-way matching techniques. u2022 Ability to post ACH payments and manage online payment entries efficiently. u2022 Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Effective communication skills for resolving vendor and internal team discrepancies.
