A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide direct nursing care.Implement and monitor patient care plans.Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited School of Professional NursingCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossTwo years of recent related nursing experience.Licensed military RN experience will be consideredPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
