Job Summary Job Title: Mechanical Engineer I Principal Duties and Responsibilities + Familiar with different HVAC system types and their applications + HVAC systems selection, sizing, and design (ductwork and piping) + Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency Standards + Engineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy services + Perform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro and eQuest programs + Assist with developing ability to conduct job site surveys and help to analyze solutions and installation sequencing. + Other duties may include copying/printing/scanning, assembly of equipment submittal packages, assistance in preparing work scope and other tasks as assigned. + Ability to manage multiple deadlines + Ability to write technical proposals and reports Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.) + Bacheloru2019s degree in mechanical engineering + 1+ yearsu2019 experience in HVAC Design + CEM, EIT highly preferred + Knowledge of OSHPD codes are a plus + Independent decision making is required + Computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
