Terrain Park Attendant

Full-Time and Part-Time seasonal positions available SUMMARY: This position is essential for maintaining all park elements in the terrain park to provide an enjoyable environment and the best terrain park experience for our guests. The Terrain Park Attendant (TPA) provides crowd supervision, safety awareness education, freestyle terrain etiquette and guest relations. This position allows for skiing/snowboarding while working and it is essential that the TPA understand that they represent the values of Bousquet and responsibilities of the position while working. If you enjoy sharing your love for park riding/skiing with others, then this job is for you! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Installing and maintaining park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banner tape. 2. Monitoring terrain features by visual inspection and testing according to company policy. 3. Maintaining ongoing monitoring and maintenance of terrain features and equipment in the parks. Assist snow surface staff by reporting park conditions and assisting in maintaining optimal conditions for the safety and enjoyment of guests. 4. Assisting with special events including erection and maintenance of equipment. 5. Participate in user education and training. 6. Ensuring all park users follow the rules and etiquette of the terrain park and ensuring proper corrective action is taken for violations. 7. Additional or other duties may be assigned. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: This position is a part-time seasonal position which requires 2-4 hours of labor a day. Any offer of full-time seasonal employment would require the position to be combined with another position such as snowmaking or maintenance. Due to the many variables that affect Winter resort operations, such as weather and number of guests, occasionally employees may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside their primary area of responsibility as needed, including performing in any subordinate position. QUALIFICATIONS: The individual can perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability desired. Valid driver's license required 4. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 5. Able to shovel and rake snow for extended periods of time in variable weather conditions 6. Prior experience in terrain parks preferred 7. Snow cat driving experience preferred 8. Working knowledge of park layout/design and park event experience 9. Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) 10. Rail fabrication experience preferred 11.
