*Job Title:** **Forklift Operator – Winery** **Location:** Fort Lawn, SC **Schedule:** Day 12 hrs | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule] **Pay Rate:** $18.00 **Overview** Kelly® Services is seeking dependable and safety-focused **Forklift Operators** to support operations at **Winery** in **Fort Lawn, SC** . This role is vital to maintaining smooth production flow, ensuring accurate inventory movement, and supporting a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience and a strong commitment to teamwork and workplace safety. **Key Responsibilities** + Operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down, stand-up ) to move materials, pallets, and finished product. + Load and unload trailers and production lines following all safety procedures. + Stage raw materials and finished goods according to production and shipping schedules. + Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues. + Maintain accurate inventory counts through scanning and documentation. + Support general warehouse and production tasks as needed, including line supply and material handling. + Follow Gallo’s safety, sanitation, and quality control standards at all times. **Qualifications** + **High school diploma or GED** required. + **Valid forklift certification** (or ability to obtain prior to start). **_6 months – 1 year_** **_of recent forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred._** + Ability to lift up to **50 lbs** and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching). + Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled industrial environment. **Work Environment** + Warehouse and production setting with exposure to moderate noise and moving mechanical equipment. + Must wear appropriate **PPE** (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.). + Team-oriented culture with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.
