This position will be part of MNIT’s Human and Social Digital Services (HSDS) team, which supports agency teams at these state agencies: Department of Human Services (DHS), MNsure, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), and Direct Care and Treatment (DCT). The MNIT HSDS team combines development and IT operations with a DevOps approach to ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of critical technology systems that serve counties, families, and individuals across Minnesota. The purpose of this position is to administer critical application management information systems used by all divisions of MNIT. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day support efforts of applications used across the environment as well as projects, and enhancements to ensure stable continued operations in a compliant manner and to deliver feature and capacity enhancements through projects as required. This is a Remote Worker position (, where the employees home address shall serve as their official work location and must be located within the continental United States. ( **:** Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT related experience with knowledge and understanding of Oracle database systems, Oracle database administration, Oracle database security, and Oracle script development and implementation. Experience must include: + Oracle Database Administration (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c, or later) + Installation, configuration, and upgrades. + Managing tablespaces, schemas, indexes, and users. + Applying patches and performing database cloning. + Performance Tuning & Optimization + Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties. + Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
