Our practical courses aredesigned for the public and serve adult learners seeking to learn a newlanguage or improve their language skills. Online conversation sessionsgenerally take place between 5:30 and 8:30pm CT to accommodate adultlearners' schedules. Our program is fully online and uses a flippedclassroom approach to help students maximize their time with theinstructor. Course content is already created(Spanish) or a textbook is used (French, Italian, and Portuguese).Additional audiovisual materials delivered through Canvas. Job dutiesinclude: Facilitating weekly online conversation sessions on ZoomResponding to emails and discussion forum posts in a timely mannerProviding feedback on short written assignments (no grade recording)Developing and sending out conversation session agendas a week inadvance of each conversation session. Specific job responsiblities areassigned per course and are dependant on course length, size, andinstructor experience. Subsequent teaching opportunities are contingentupon satisfactory teaching evaluations and performance.Key JobResponsibilities: Measures student performance and progress, utilizingassessment tools to align with established mission and philosophyResearches and selects curriculum content, designs courses, and preparesassessment tools regarding specific programs to align with unitobjectives and strategy Collaborates with internal and externalstakeholders to identify learning barriers and difficulties, developssolutions and aligns resources with student needs to support learneradvancement...
