QC Microbiology Technician

Summary of Objective:Conducts sampling and testing of production environments, and/orfacility clean utilities, as per approved procedures. Performs Lab workand other tasks as assigned by management. Essential Duties: Maintainsand adheres to safe work habits and all applicable PCI safety proceduresand guidelines. Is proactive in identifying safety risks and alertsmanagement to take corrective action. Completes routine environmentalmonitoring of clean rooms, as per approved procedures over multiplelocal production sites. Completes environmental monitoring of cleanrooms during manufacturing, as per approved procedures over multiplelocal production sites. Utility sampling, as per approved proceduresover multiple local production sites. Completed daily and weeklyassigned tasks in the Microbiology Laboratory Adheres to verbalinstructions and written procedures in operating production equipmentand performing processing steps; accurately completes appropriateproduction documentation Complete data verifications checks and/orinputs Other duties as assigned Special Demands: This positionrequires frequent movement between different buildings for various tasksand responsibilities. A key aspect of this role is the need foraseptic gowning and meticulous compliance with gowning procedures duringclean room operations PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Ability to wear personalprotective equipment such as safety glasses/goggles, gloves and safetyshoes.
