Shipping Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE: Coordinate literatureand material to fulfill deliveries daily. Maintain a clean and organizedwork environment. Independently handle day to day tasks and introductorySAP transactions including order processing and inventory management.CORE DUTIES: 1. Correctly sort, pull and stage domestic or internationaldeliveries at appropriate temperature. 2. Confirm and ship domestic orinternational deliveries in SAP. 3. Correctly route all orders. 4.Actively participate in workplace organization and follow organizationstandards to maintain a clean, safe work environment. 5. Ability torecognize a problem and bring it to the Supervisor's attention. 6.Effectively communicate with people from other departments. 7. Work withMaterials Management to reserve product. 8. Assist in physicalinventory. 9. Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). 10. Assist inconsolidating and managing inventory. 11. Demonstrates inclusion throughtheir own words and actions and is accountable for a safe workspace.Acts with kindness, curiosity and respect for others. 12. Embracing andbeing open to incorporating Promega's 6 Emotional & Social Intelligence(ESI) core principles in daily work. 13. Understands and complies withethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma or proven work experiencethat ensures you are ready to be successful in this role. 2. Accuracy incompleting orders is critical. 3. Must be a team player with effectivecommunication skills. 4. Must be able to work independently and in ateam environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prior shipping orinventory experience. 2. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office. 3.Previous PIT experience. 4. Willingness to receive training to operatePIT. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to move objects weighing up to 40 lbs.2. Ability to move one's person easily and consistently. 3. Ability toremain stationary for multiple hours at a time. 4. Ability to movethroughout a warehouse environment for multiple hours at a time. 5.Ability to work with a computer in an interactive manner for extendedperiods of time.
