Job Title: Access Control Technician Location: San Antonio, Texas Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Installer with experience in telecommunications and enterprise-level security systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities + Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. + Install, terminate, test, and maintain hardware from manufacturers such as: + Von Duprin + Assa Abloy + HID + Honeywell + Demonstrate proficiency in installing and servicing: + Mag Locks + Electronic Door Strikes + Card Readers and Keypads + Electric Crash Bars + EREX (Emergency Request to Exit Buttons) + REX (Request to Exit) PIR + Motion Sensors + IP Cameras + NVRs and DVRs + Configure and test enterprise security systems including: + CCTV + Access Control + Intrusion Detection + Video Analytics + IP Network Systems + Visitor Management Systems + Lead project installation teams and ensure quality control. + Provide outstanding customer service and technical support. + Track and report project progress and milestones. ufe0f Required Skills + Access Control + Security System Installation + CCTV Setup and Maintenance + Alarm System Installation Top Skills + Access Control + Security + CCTV + Alarm Installation Additional Qualifications + Process-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills. + Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics. + Solid understanding of internet protocols and networking fundamentals. + Self-motivated and capable of resolving issues independently. + Valid driveru2019s license with a clean MVR. + Certifications in any of the following are a plus: + Honeywell Pro-Watch + Genetec + Openpath + Exacq + 3xLogic + Brivo + Willingness to undergo training and certification (provided by Security 101). + Experience Level - Intermediate + 6 months of Access Control Experience + 1 year or more of Commercial Cabling Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
