Job SummaryThe Finance Manager - Revenue Cycle is responsible for preparing financial reports and research, while supporting the business by providing analysis and insight in such areas as revenue forecasting and performance, healthcare billing and collections, expense tracking, bad debt and write-off management, and other areas of revenue cycle management.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:Manage monthly reports and presentations of KPIs and key business metricsAssist in monthly accounting close reviewPrepare monthly business review materialsAnalyze insurance payor behavior and reimbursement ratesAssist in preparing annual revenue budgetUpdate short- and long-term revenue forecastsProvide business analysis and financial modellingAssist leaders with trending, benchmarking, and analysis of resultsOther Duties as assigned.Additional Job RequirementsRegular scheduled attendanceIndicate the percentage of time spent traveling < 5%Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. In accordance with applicable laws, Air Methods will provide reasonable accommodations that do not create an undue burden so disabled employees may perform the essential functions of the position.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Mathematics or Economics from four-year college or university; five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong Financial Planning and Analysis backgroundExperience in healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle managementSkillsDemonstrated leadership and partnering from Finance role driving improvements and proactive KPI and other optimization reporting into a large organization.Process improvement and project management.Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Assess situations and support decisions by researching, validating, and organizing a variety of defined and undefined observations or issues in a fact-based detailed-oriented mannerDevelop and present recommendations from accurate assessments and/or analysisServe as an active participant in the development of complex analysis, identification of concerns, and the validation of observations and risksTeam player with a professional attitudeExcellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlinesComputer SkillsExpert in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Basic to moderate skill with database (SQL).Intermediate using Visio or other comparable flow/organization chart softwareCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCPA PreferredUSD $110,000.00/Yr.USD $140,000.00/Yr.
