Job Description

We are currently seeking a Fleet and Tank Assets Coordinator to support key asset management operations from our Whippany, NJ location.As the Fleet and Tank Assets Coordinator, you will coordinate vehicle licensing and titling, track tank inventory, and manage updates within our Fleet and Tank Asset Management systems. You will serve as the primary system support for the field, working closely with regional teams and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely data and inventory tracking.Maintain and update fleet database to monitor vehicle status, equipment records, and disposition reporting.Coordinate new vehicle registrations with internal stakeholders and external partners.Manage documentation for vehicle asset sales and ensure proper reporting to Fixed Assets.Oversee the delivery process of vehicles through coordination with third-party vendors.Support and update the Tank Asset Management System, including additions, deletions, and troubleshooting data issues with field teams.Track and reconcile tank inventory at refurbishment sites by working with approximately 10 external vendors.Enter and code department invoices using COR360.Prepare sales agreements for tank disposals or sales.Contribute to departmental initiatives and special projects as needed.Why join the Suburban Propane team?
