MarketSource is headquartered in Alpharetta, GA.SummaryThe Outside Sales (OSM) Manager must be highly motivated and results-driven to support the growth of product sales and market share for our client (s). The OSM will be responsible for collaborating to create a sales process that will drive a high closure rate within a specified account base. The OSM will provide coaching/training and execute market strategies in collaboration with the client to drive innovation and value and have a positive impact on business results.Essential Job Functions:Focus on prospect maintenance/relationships and acquisition of new dealer accounts via in-person customer visitsAct as main point of contact for and work collaboratively with key dealers, distributors, and Co-op partners (i.e.- Account Executives, Sales Leader, Market Manager, Regional Sales Director, Traders, etc.)Coach, develop, and guide the demand creation process to convert or acquire new builders, with specific intent on how to sell the value of the client’s productsWork collaboratively with key client partners to keep them informed of market pricing and competitive prices, rebate, and dealer stocking locationsAct as point of contact at key dealer locations and supporting marketing/promotional initiatives (shows, etc.); programs; job and customer specific pricing; this includes managing and participating in key dealer showsBe subject matter expert for specific areas like credit issues, new account set up, order management inquiries and understanding strengths/opportunities of competitive distribution within assigned territoryAbility to travel as needed (up to 60% of time)Enter daily updates in Salesforce.com (CRM) to record all activity, account profiles, opportunities, etc.Utilize CRM and other Sales Enablement technologies to manage and report on team performance, sales funnel, and forecastingRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goalsStrong verbal communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to be proactive and work independentlyProven record of accomplishment of account development, planning and sales growthStrong negotiation skills with the creativity to create win/ win solutionsDemonstrated ability to manage and perform well under pressure and maintain professional demeanorAbility to build strong partnerships with all internal customers, both locally and in our corporate locations (in-office and virtually)Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and personal credibilityAbility to tackle complex issues and develop innovative and practical solutionsProficient utilizing Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and internet/cloud-based technologiesJob Requirements:BA/BS in construction management or minimum two years applicable work experience preferred5+ years sales experience in the building/construction industryAbility to travel min. 60%In office workdays are required; there will be day(s) designated for working remotely based on the schedule assignedMarketSource is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
