A private family in Palm Beach, FL, with a second home in Southampton, NY, is seeking to hire two experienced and professional full-time Housekeepers to join an established household team under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper. The estate is approximately 15,000 sq ft with 7 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The position is live-out when in Florida and live-in, staff room or rental, when in the Hamptons, June through September.The ideal candidates will be highly professional, discreet, detail-oriented, and physically capable, with prior experience in luxury private homes. This role requires a go-getter attitude, someone who is quick, thorough, and capable of following detailed instructions precisely. The schedule will be rotational with at least one weekend off per month and two days off per week. The shifts are 8am to 4pm or 12pm to 8pm.Key Responsibilities:Full spectrum of housekeeping duties, including but not limited to:Deep and light cleaning, including dusting, mopping, and vacuumingSanitation of kitchen surfaces/appliances and bathroomsLaundry care, including delicate and couture itemsSteaming and ironingPacking and unpacking for principalsCare of fine furnishings, fabrics, and fine artChanging linens and making bedsHousehold organizationLight plant care and wateringFeeding and light cleanup for household pets (currently no dog, but pet-friendly attitude required)Comfortably managing physical demands: navigating stairs, lifting up to 25-30 lbsMaintaining discretion and privacy in all tasksAlways keeping the home in guest-ready conditionCommunication via group iMessages with the household teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow instructions and read labelsCollaborative team playerHighly discreet, reliable, and physically activeProfessional, trustworthy, and thoroughAbility to read the roomProactive thoughtful approachPrior experience in a private, high-end home in a similar roleEnglish fluency (Spanish a plus)Willingness to travel and adapt to seasonal schedulesPet-friendlyMust be able to spend June through September in the HamptonsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordLegal to work in the U.S.The family is offering $33 per hour with a pay increase, while in the Hamptons, a $500 health stipend and 3 weeks of PTO. Costs for shipping a vehicle to the Hamptons or Uber costs while in the Hamptons will be covered.
