It is because of our decades of expertise in a variety of complex industrial projects that our team has earned a reputation for service and integrity unparalleled in the energy industry.PPG is an EPC contractor specializing in the installation of utility and industrial process infrastructure including substations, power generation, industrial process facilities, and renewable fuel projects. PPG utilizes a motivated team of in-house subject matter experts, construction managers, project managers, engineers, and project staff to manage the execution of the engineering, procurement, and construction of various projects.Lead, manage, and supervise all electrical field personnel and subcontractors on-siteEnsure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project schedulesServe as the primary on-site electrical expert and liaison between project management, engineering, and field crewsCoordinate the installation of electrical systems including power distribution, instrumentation, control systems, lighting, grounding, and renewable energy systemsReview construction drawings, specifications, and work packages to plan daily and weekly field activitiesInterface with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) to coordinate installations and resolve conflictsOversee installation of electrical infrastructure such as substations, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and cabling for both renewable and chemical refining systemsConduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and relevant local and federal codesVerify that all electrical work meets quality expectations and passes required inspections and testing.Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site in accordance with company and OSHA requirementsEnsure compliance with environmental regulations related to electrical systems in renewable and chemical processing environmentsMaintain daily logs, progress reports, and support schedule updatesTrack material deliveries, manpower, and equipment usageParticipate in progress meetings, punch lists, and close-out processesPerforms any other duties assignedAdheres to internal standards, policies, and proceduresBroad knowledge of Electrical construction including equipment, labor, means and methods, codes, and standards15+ years of related electrical construction experience in industrial, petrochemical processing plants, oil refining and power generation projectsRefinery and chemical processing experience is a must30 Hour OSHA CertificationA degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management a plusBroad understanding of electrical construction and site logistics.Knowledge and understanding Labor RegulationsStrong and effective communication and problem-solving skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong leadership and management skillsFunction effectively within a team unitBroad understanding of construction documents and drawingsComputer proficient with ability to adapt to new innovations and processesTechnically proficientMotivate staff and trade contractors to perform at the highest level possibleCompetitive Compensation401(k) Retirement PlanHoliday PayPaid Time Off (PTO)Comprehensive Health CoveragePet InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional DevelopmentTuition AssistanceEmployee Discount ProgramThe anticipated compensation for this position is USD $140.00/Yr. - USD $180,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
